Keskinoğlu received the export awards given by the Aegean Exporters' Association in two categories for its sales abroad. Keskinoğlu, which was also awarded last year for its sales abroad in the poultry sector, received two awards this year for its exports in both the poultry and egg categories among the companies affiliated to the association.
At the ceremony organized every year by the Aegean Exporters' Association, companies ranked in the top 5 with their exports in the groups of aquaculture products, poultry meat, eggs, honey and milk and dairy products are awarded. Keskinoğlu became the fifth most exporting company in the egg sector and the third most exporting company in the poultry sector in 2022.
On Thursday, April 13, at the ceremony held at the Aegean Exporters' Association building, İlker Dinçer, Export Manager, received the awards on behalf of Keskinoğlu. Expressing their satisfaction with the appreciation of their work, Dinçer said: “The awards motivate us and show that we are moving in the right direction.” Stating that they export to 42 countries in 6 continents today, Dinçer said that their goal is to deliver Keskinoğlu flavors to every corner of the world.
Bedri Girit, President of the Aegean Aquaculture and Animal Products Exporters' Association (Aegean Aquaculture and Animal Products Exporters' Association), stated that they have been one of the star sectors of exports since the beginning of the 2000s, that they have increased their exports every year for 22 years and reached 4 billion 66 million dollars at the end of 2022, that they managed to exceed the export target of 3.5 billion dollars for 2023 by 566 million dollars a year earlier, and that they aim to export 5 billion dollars for 2026.
Turkey's first and only fully integrated poultry company, Keskinoğlu produces chicken meat, table and pasteurized eggs, further processing products and viol. Exporting to 42 countries, Keskinoğlu mainly exports eggs, chicken meat and further processed products to the Middle East, Balkans and African countries. Keskinoğlu, which has a daily processing capacity of over 3 million eggs and 400 thousand pieces of chicken meat in 3 different fully integrated egg processing facilities certified by European standards in Akhisar, operates with a production capacity of 30 thousand tons per year in its advanced processing facility. It produces 95 million broiler chickens per year, raises 2.5 million pullets, uses the latest technology and applies high hygiene standards in its breeding facilities, pullets facilities, hatchery and feed factories. Keskinoğlu integrated facilities also have fertilizer facilities in order to ensure the best recycling of the laying hen droppings to the nature. In these facilities, fertilizer is produced at European standards using the latest technology.
This year, Keskinoğlu Tavukçuluk grew even more by joining the Matlı Group of Companies, Turkey's No. 1 feed company and among the top five companies in Turkey in egg and milk production. With this merger, Keskinoğlu has become a part of a large group that is also involved in other links of the protein chain with its activities in the feed and dairy sectors. Keskinoğlu is preparing to achieve new successes as part of the Matlı group's vision of becoming Turkey's protein center. Keskinoğlu's goal is to be the brand that gives consumers both in domestic markets and abroad a “delicious feeling”.
Keskinoğlu Poultry
Serving since 1963 in the poultry sector, Keskinoğlu operates in its facilities with a closed area of 489,162 m², built on a land of 2,780,503 m² and equipped with the most modern production technologies in European Union standards.
Keskinoğlu raises the world's most productive and healthy eggs and broiler chicks in fully automatic computer-controlled incubation and vaccination units. It produces 3 million eggs daily in 3 different facilities and 95 million broiler chickens annually in its broiler plant. In 1986, Keskinoğlu started to produce pullets in 13 poultry houses with a capacity of 35 thousand pieces each, and with the investments made in 2011, the number of poultry houses increased to 25, and 2.5 million pullets are raised in the facility. The advanced processing facility, which Keskinoğlu put into operation in 2008, has a capacity of 30 thousand tons.
Keskinoğlu ensures that eggs reach the kitchens in a healthy and safe way with its viol factory, which was established in 1994 with its environmental management policy. It uses cardboard freezers and cold storage warehouses to preserve its products in the best way until they reach the consumer. With a shocking capacity of 7,800 kg per hour, the facility preserves the nutritional value of the products at a high rate.
Establishing its own feed factory in 1981 and opening its second factory, the OSB feed factory in 2008, Keskinoğlu produces with a total capacity of 100 tons/hour, 60 tons/hour at the central feed factory and 40 tons/hour at the OSB feed factory.
