CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
This Clarification Text, Keskinoğlu Tavukçuluk ve Damızlık İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and/or Keskinoğlu Companies (hereinafter referred to as “Keskinoğlu” or “Company”), has been prepared in order to inform you about the processing of your personal information that you have submitted to us either while using our website, by filling out the relevant application forms or by other means, within the scope of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, the relevant international conventions to which our country is a party and the relevant legislation, especially the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”). Keskinoğlu reserves the right to update this Information Text on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data at any time within the framework of changes that may be made in the applicable legislation.
Who is the data controller?
Pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (Law No. 6698), your personal data will be processed by Keskinoğlu Tavukçuluk ve Damızlık İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. as the data controller, will be collected and processed within the scope described below.
For what purposes is personal data processed?
Your personal data that you share with our Company within the framework of consumer, subscriber, customer, supplier, employee and other relations may be processed, recorded, stored and preserved in accordance with the KVKK, in a manner stipulated by the law and the rule of honesty, in whole or in part, in connection with the purposes of processing, limited and measured, accurate and up-to-date, for certain clear and legitimate purposes.
Your personal data may be stored and processed by our Company as the data controller for purposes such as understanding consumer needs, responding to their requests faster and providing better service by improving our communication with our consumers, informing you about our products and services, receiving your opinions about our products and services, developing and diversifying our products and services in line with your requests and needs, and in addition to these, to carry out our necessary quality and standard audits as stipulated by the relevant laws and regulations or to fulfill our reporting and other obligations stipulated under the relevant legislation. This service can be obtained from third parties.
Apart from the above-mentioned cases, Keskinoğlu may also process your Personal Data in the presence of exceptional circumstances regulated under Article 5/2 of the KVKK (it is clearly stipulated in the laws, it is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, fulfillment of a legal obligation, it is made public by the data subject himself/herself, it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of Keskinoğlu).
Method and Legal Grounds for Collection of Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected and your consents may be obtained verbally, in writing or electronically through channels such as the website, Cookies and similar technologies on the website, our social media accounts, various contracts, mobile applications, electronic mail, application forms, written or verbal communications with our Company, etc. within the framework of Article 5 of the KVKK, for the purpose and scope stated above, but not limited to these.
To whom and why is personal data transferred?
Your personal data collected is transferred to third parties in accordance with the basic principles stipulated in the Law and within the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. The data processed within this scope; primarily Keskinoğlu Tavukçuluk ve Damızlık İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and/or Keskinoğlu Companies, business partners, dealers, suppliers, subcontractors, performance assistants, relevant supervisory institutions, official institutions, including but not limited to; may be stored, updated, periodically checked, reorganized and classified. In the capacity of data processor, our company may send you informative and promotional e-mails and / or sms, make a phone call, or this service may be performed by obtaining from third parties.
How Long Is Your Personal Data Stored?
If a period of time is stipulated in the Law or the relevant legislation for the storage of your personal data, the data in question will be stored for this period. Otherwise, it is stored for the period determined according to the purposes of processing, provided that it is limited and measured. Upon expiration of the period required for the purposes of processing or upon the justified request of the data owner, personal data are deleted or destroyed in accordance with the legislation.
What Measures are Taken for Data Security?
In order to prevent unlawful transfer, disclosure, access or different security deficiencies that your personal data may encounter, all necessary technical and administrative measures are taken within the possibilities and according to the nature of the data to be protected. Your personal data may be unlawfully accessed by Keskinoğlu Tavukçuluk ve Damızlık İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and/or Keskinoğlu Companies without any fault of Keskinoğlu Tavukçuluk ve Damızlık İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and/or Keskinoğlu Companies shall not be liable.
What are the rights regarding Personal Data and how to use them?
As a personal data owner, we inform you that you have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the Law:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information if your personal data has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request correction of your personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing disappear, although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law and other relevant laws, and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- To object if a result arises against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- To demand the compensation of the damage in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
